Vancouver Island Seals announce Assistant Coach Carson Steel for the 2026-2027 Season

Vancouver Island Seals would to announce the return of Carson Steel for the 2026-2027 season. Carson will serve as an assistant coach.

“I’m super excited to be back coaching the Seals for a second year, last year was a great experience for me” said Steel.

Carson, a native of Port Alberni played his junior career locally and credits the community of Alberni Valley a huge part of who he is.

“It’s pretty special to now give back by coaching and helping the next group of players grow and succeed. I am looking forward to building on what we started, pushing ourselves to get better every day, and most importantly, having fun along the way” stated Steel.

It’s going to be a great season and I’m proud to be apart of it!
