Cynthia Fowler enters her first season as general manager of the Vancouver Island Seals. Fowler has been involved in minor hockey for 21 years and has served as a team manager since 2015. She was also an equipment manager from 2018 to 2020 and has served as second vice-president of Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association since 2023.

The Kelowna, B.C., native played U18 Female AAA hockey with the Kelowna Rockets and participated in the Program of Excellence. She also competed at the U15 Soccer Nationals in Toronto, where she earned a bronze medal. Fowler works as a licensed practical nurse.

Patrick Thibeault enters his first season as head coach of the Female U18 AAA Vancouver Island Seals. Thibeault brings 35 years of hockey experience to the role, including more than a decade with Team BC. His coaching background includes roles with BC Hockey’s Program of Excellence, North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association, the Ridge Meadows Flames of the Pacific Junior Hockey League, the University of British Columbia women’s hockey team and the Female U18 AAA Vancouver Fusion, now known as the Greater Vancouver Comets.

Thibeault resides in Qualicum Beach, B.C. He attended Dawson College and Cégep André-Laurendeau in LaSalle, Que., where he studied languages and literature.
