Vancouver Island Seals announce Assistant Coach Katrina Hawkins for the 2026-2027 Season

Katrina played her U18 years with the North Island Edge/Extreme (now Impact) and participated in the BC Hockey Program of Excellence before committing to play NCAA DIII hockey at Chatham University, where she also played softball and competed in track and field. 

A product of Powell River Minor Hockey Association, Katrina understands the importance of community involvement to growing the game, and enjoys giving back to the programs she benefited from while contributing to player growth and development.

Most recently, Katrina was an assistant coach with the U15A North Island Impact and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nanaimo Islanders Female Hockey Association.
