Vancouver Island Seals announce Patrick Thibeault as Head Coach for the 2026-27 BCEHL season

The Vancouver Island Seals are pleased to announce that Patrick Thibeault has been appointed as the team’s Head Coach by the British Columbia Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) for the 2026-27 season. 

This will be Patrick’s first year as Head Coach for the Seals. Patrick brings a wealth of experience, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to the growth of hockey in British Columbia. Along with his player-first approach, he has a proven track record of fostering both individual development and team success; positioning him well to lead the Seals into an exciting new chapter and establish a lasting foundation for the program. 

“I’m incredibly honoured to take on the role of Head Coach with the Vancouver Island Seals,” said Thibeault. “This program will be built on a strong culture. My focus is on creating an environment where our athletes are supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential both on and off the ice.”
